I have a theory on Smarty Pants. What if he(or she) was original Luna's? When she became Nightmare Moon, Celestia kept it all that time to remind her of Luna. Fast foward a thousand years, Celestia then decides to give Twilight Smarty Pants as a birthday gift. Just a thought.
